Welcome to my website. My name is Xand West and I am a Tarot, Lenormand, and Rune reader and teacher. I am passionate about Cartomancy and my specific area of research for the past five years has been the Lenormand Grand Tableau. I am a traditional card reader and student of Qabalah. Welcome to my website. My name is Alexander. Born in 1978, I grew up with a passion for Magick and Witchcraft. From a young age, I quickly realised I was different to everyone around me. I could sense things others could not. In my early twenties, I learned I was an empath and highly clairsentient, and then I began to have premonitions, visions of the future.
Now, at the age of almost 50 years, I’ve dedicated my life to the study of cartomancy with particular focus on Tarot, Playing Cards, Runes, and the exquisite art of reading the Lenormand Grand Tableau, which is by far my favourite divination system for its complexity and level of detail.

As a Cartomancer, I am fascinated with traditional card reading techniques such as the Celtic Cross Tarot spread or the Nine Rune Portrait, which is why the Lenormand Grand Tableau is my preferred system. The 36 Lenormand Cards may look simplistic in nature and far less magickal, mysterious, and esoteric than RWS, Marseille, or Thoth Tarot cards, but when we read cards in houses using techniques such as mirroring, knighting and chaining of houses, combined with the traditional method of distance rules (based on tableau style readings using playing cards), layers of information appear allowing for levels of precision not possible with other divination methods.

Prices
I currently charge £50 (50% off) for a 90 Minute session via Whatsapp Video which typically includes a 36 Card Lenormand Grand Tableau plus a Tarot and Rune Reading to investigate specific life areas or issues that come up during our session. I find a 3, 5 or 10 card Tarot reading to work well and a Nine Rune Box reading is an excellent way to unlock subconscious blockages and to find solutions to difficult issues. Whilst I am not a Medium, in that this is not my primary area of study, I have found that the Lenormand Grand Tableau and the Nine Rune Box provides a perfect way to create readings of a mediumistic nature which can allow for messages which often provide much emotional comfort to those suffering from grief. I myself lost my sister to cancer in 2022 and since then we have communicated many times using the GT.

I also offer Tarot and Lenormand lessons which cost £25 per hour. We can go over the traditional Celtic Cross and explore my favourite spread the Lenormand Grand Tableau. I believe it is vital for you to be able to read for yourself so I encourage you to do this on a daily basis, keep a record of the spread using a diary or Instagram for example, then reverse engineer the spread the following day when events have occurred.
